The Class of 2012 hosted this year's Senior class at the traditional Junior/Senior Banquet. After touring the Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum in Hollywood, the students were taken to the Royal Palace in Glendale where they dined on a 22-appetizer and 13-entree Armenian dinner. Entertainment was provided by members of the Junior class. To end the evening, the students returned to SGA where formal portraits were taken, t-shirts commemorating the event were given, and dessert was served.

On Saturday, April 16, students and faculty journeyed to Crystal Cove State Park and explored the tidepools and caves located at this beach location. After sunset vespers, the group took the ferry from Balboa Island to the Newport Peninsula where they had dinner before returning to school. Students always enjoy the exploration in nature and the bonding that takes place on these monthly events planned by SGA's Campus Ministries.

Students enrolled in Advanced Placement courses are busily preparing for their national examinations that take place during the first two weeks in May. The AP courses offered at SGA include AP Chemistry, AP Government and Politics, AP Physics, and AP U.S. History.
March 31 - April 3, 2011
On March 31, almost one hunder eighth graders from surrounding schools were hosted by San Gabriel Academy for Academy Day. This experience exposed the soon-to-be high school students to campus life and included classroom visits, a special assembly, lunch, and games. We hope to see many of these students next August as in-coming Freshmen
SGA's annual Alumni Weekend was held on April 1 - 3 on the school campus. The formal activities, hosting all SGA graduates and special honor clases, began with Vespers on Friday evening. After a special program on Saturday morning, which included music, inspiration, and a potluck luncheon, there was a series of Alumni vs. Varsity Basketball games on Saturday night. To conclude this special weekend, the Student Association of SGA hosted its annual Spring Festival on Sunday. A large turnout of school and community guests, along with visiting alumni, enjoyed games and a declicious variety of food prepared by the school's classes and extracurricular organizations.
